Guiding Force of Theatre OM
Playwright
Artyom Novichenkov
A guiding force. A member of the company since the founding of the theatre. Literary scholar, poet, philosopher, writer, musician, and director.
Artyom is a person of tireless search, for whom the movement itself is more important than any answer. A movement in which paradox becomes a way of approaching the essence of things. His inner process unfolds at the point where a person remains alone with themselves, with their choice, and with their own infinity.
For Artyom, theatre is neither a form nor an institution, but a crossroads. A space of co-being where encounters and collisions take place beyond control, where destiny reveals itself as something both inevitable and elusive. It is a theatre in which a person finds themselves between life and death, between fear and joy, between the desire for salvation and self-preservation and the longing to move beyond the limits of what seems possible.
Artyom is undoubtedly impulse itself — something primordial and profound that precedes both form and meaning. The force that compels one to continue forward, even when the path remains unclear.
